The SMC EZ Connect™ 802.11a Wireless Cardbus Adapter (SMC2735W) is based on the new IEEE 802.11a wireless standard and provides the perfect solution for both home and business users. Using an enhanced “turbo mode” feature, this new SMC Wireless Adapter is capable of communication speeds up to 72Mbps, which is 7-times faster than 802.11b-based devices, and can also support a maximum operating range up to 1,650 feet. To provide network security, the EZ Connect adapter supports encryption using both 64-bit and 128-bit WEP, and provides an extra security feature with 152-bit WEP. Combine these features with simple Plug-and-Play support and you have the perfect solution for any of your wireless needs.
